Theater nerds (aka me) will refer to people outside the arts as muggles (with love).

In the past, I kept my art and day job separate. Truly a Superman and Clark Kent moment. I thought that they shouldn’t overlap.

During the pandemic, I had the epiphany that much of my success is actually due to crossover of my skills in both of these parts of my life. Together, they enrich my life and grant me a unique perspective.

Moving forward, I’m interested in seeing how the arts can intersect with environments that are traditionally seen as artless. Figuring out how to bring our fully creative selves to all situations can be scary, but I believe that it’s all about getting people to know ourselves, others, and the systems we exist within. From there, we can inspire change.
